Draenei race in WoW

The Draenei race is one of the most unusual races in World of Warcraft. Not only their looks is quite unique, but their history, their origin and their skills make them a different. They are a part of the Alliance and a Draenei player starts his journey on the Exodar – their giant ship.

The Draenei were once a great eredar race from which Sargeras was forming his Burning Legion. Sargeras offered to join him and a huge part of eredar joined him and soon they were transformed into horrible demons. The rest of the eredar under the leadership of Velen had a chance to seek refuge and with the new name of Draenei they tried to escape the wrath of their former friends. The demons found the orcs and turned them in to frenzied beasts that had to attack Draenei and eventually they killed most of them. Luckily the Draenei escaped successfully and they took refuge in Azeroth where they could join the Alliance for their never ending war with the Burning Legion.

Each Draenai has some unique abilities. Gift if Naaru grants the player the ability to heal a target, Heroic Presence allows you to have increased chance for a hit and they have increased resistance against Shadow spells. Also they have increased Jewelcrafting skill. The Draenei have their special mount – the Elekk, a creature that is similar to an elephant.
